It seems that Mercedes-Benz is not the only manufacturer whose models have been copied by Chinese companies. In an article published earlier on the SMART ForTwo and copy the Noble, were informed about the judicial process that the Chinese manufacturer Shuanghuan could receive its controversial premiere model in the Frankfurt Auto Show. The same is true now with the BMW CEO, an BMW SUV manufacturing with Chinese characteristics very similar to the BMW X5.
Indeed, if one looks carefully at the vehicle profile and from the rear, there are strong similarities to the BMW X5. According to a publication Automobilwoche (German version of Automotive News), BMW could bring an action against the manufacturer of the BMW CEO, if the model is premiered in Frankfurt, or if you attempt to market it in Europe.
The regulations of the Frankfurt Auto Show provide that any vehicle in question in a proceeding for violation of copyright, should be removed from their facilities and exhibition halls. Hopefully see what happens with these new Chinese imitations.
