Tele Atlas, known digital map data company has signed an agreement with automaker BMW, which provides digital map data and content to local search navigation systems BMW of the latest models designed by the German mark.
BMW vehicles sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia will, as from 2008, with maps from BMW Tele Atlas to provide drivers of these cars with details of routes and points exact location.
Likewise, this agreement adds to the recently signed with the Spanish manufacturer SEAT, which Tele Atlas guides users in the last four models of the brand (SEAT Altea XL, SEAT Altea, SEAT Toledo and SEAT Leon) by Western Europe, providing mapping information for a total of 54 countries and more than 18 million points of interest.
