G-POWER M5 Hurricane RS achieved a top speed of 228,4 mph (367,4 km/h) at the ATP High-Seed test track in Papenburg last month. Before this new record been set, the previous record 227.2 mph (365,7 km/h) was set by the BRABUS Rocket. G-POWER M5 Hurricane RS had been given extra 20 hp (total power at 750 hp) to break the record for fastest BMW sedan and also to become the fastest sedan in the world.
2 modified superchargers from G-POWER with enlarged capacity are the source to the extra power of the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RS. In the following the boost level of the G-POWER BI-Kompressor system could be raised from 0,7 bar rel. to 0,8 bar rel. According to G-POWER the BI-Kompressor system could be raised from 0,7 bar rel. to 0,8 bar rel., but the system has not reached its limit yet. Companies representatives confirmed that if needed, the system could be improved and the M5 Hurricane could be taken to a whole new level.
