Corvette interior upgrades include fine Italian or English leather and optional carbon fibre seats with leather upholstery.
For the performance, Innotech is using either LS2 (6.0L) or LS3 (6.2L), performance modified to 500 hp – 560 hp if naturally aspirated, or 600 hp – 1000 hp supercharged or twin-turbocharged. The engines are mated with Corvette 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions. Performance will therefore be suitably improved over the stock C6 Corvette, with the 560hp LS3-equipped version sporting a 3,080lb (1,400kg) curb weight, pushing its potential past that of even the Z06, while the forced induction models will rival or exceed the ZR-1's vaunted performance, though Innotech is already planning new customized versions of the Z06 and ZR-1 as well, due out in 2009. A speedster version of the C6 Corvette is also in the works, offering a total of five different body styles for the Innotech Corvette range.
With all the performance upgrade, Innotech will also provide upgrade for the braking system and wheels. A set of carbon-magnesium wheels from Dymag are also optionally available. Getting the Italo-American special slowed down again is a choice of 14in (355mm) or 15in (380mm) BAER or Brembo brakes on vented, drilled and slotted rotors with 4 or 6 piston calipers.
Further more, GM also announced plans to offer the new Equinox with a 3.0-liter V6 delivering 255 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque as an optional upgrade. Also featuring direct injection, the motor has an isolated fuel injector system that promises quieter operation than other DI engines. Rubber isolators are used with the fuel rail to eliminate metal-to-metal contact that would otherwise transmit noise and vibration from the high-pressure fuel system.
The Equinox remains a unibody crossover with either front- or all-wheel drive and the same basic suspension layout as before. The platform is an evolution of the current Theta architecture shared with the Saturn Vue. The Equinox's new styling looks more contemporary with prominent wheel arches and the obligatory Chevy twin-port grille. Inside, a new dual cockpit setup looks very similar to the one in the larger Traverse. As expected of any new model these days, the full array of USB audio, Bluetooth and DVD entertainment systems are also now available. Read about the new engines powering the Equinox after the jump.

GM has unveiled the 2011 e-Spark at the New Delhi Auto Expo. Set to become India's first four-door electric vehicle, the e-Spark has no relation to the Chevy Beat/Spark destined for North America, Europe, and Asia. In fact, it's so homely, it can't even evoke half-smiles from paid models.Regardless of its styling, the e-Spark is the result of collaboration between GM and the Reva Electric Car Company (G-Wiz in the UK). As such, it will use a RECC electric powertrain with two modes - Regular and Boost. When the latter mode is selected, the electric motor will produce additional torque for improved acceleration.

SMS has released the first pictures of the 620 Camaro as it makes its official unveiling at the North American International Auto Show.Boasting a modest body kit (with a ‘Red Butterfly' side induction hood, revised side skirts, and a new front spoiler), the 620 looks aggressive but restrained. If that isn't impressive enough, SMS also offers the 620X. Packing 715 hp and 700 ft-lb of toque, the 620X can run from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds or less.
Both models are outfitted with a SMS 296TM Supercharger, a high performance braking system, and a six-speed manual transmission. Options include magneto-rheological semi-active dampers, a torvec isotorque rear differential, a six-speed automatic transmission, and 21-inch rear wheels.

Chevrolet has just begun sales of a new special edition of the Camaro. The 2010 Chevy Camaro Synergy Special Edition is mostly about the car's color, which was first shown off last year at SEMA.The Synergy Green paintjob is offset by Cyber Grey racing stripes on the hood and deck lid, but not the roof. The green tone is also used on the door inserts and instrument panel, and is the chosen color for the stitching on the black cloth seats, steering wheel, shift knob, and console.

Based on the Camaro 1LT, the limited model uses a 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 providing 304 horsepower and up to 273 ft-lb of torque. The engine is mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Also included standard is the Convenience and Connectivity Package, which includes Bluetooth capabilities, a USB port, and remote start for cars with the automatic transmission.
The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Synergy Special Edition will be produced from February to May. Retail price begins at $26,790.
