General Motors has unveiled their new redesigned 2010 Chevrolet Equinox. Recently, GM disclosed the vehicle will come equipped with a 2.4-liter direct-injection four-cylinder Ecotec engine delivering 180 horsepower at 6700 rpm and 172 pound-feet of torque at 4900 rpm. The entry-level mill promises to deliver an EPA rating of 30 mpg on the highway.Further more, GM also announced plans to offer the new Equinox with a 3.0-liter V6 delivering 255 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque as an optional upgrade. Also featuring direct injection, the motor has an isolated fuel injector system that promises quieter operation than other DI engines. Rubber isolators are used with the fuel rail to eliminate metal-to-metal contact that would otherwise transmit noise and vibration from the high-pressure fuel system.
The Equinox remains a unibody crossover with either front- or all-wheel drive and the same basic suspension layout as before. The platform is an evolution of the current Theta architecture shared with the Saturn Vue. The Equinox's new styling looks more contemporary with prominent wheel arches and the obligatory Chevy twin-port grille. Inside, a new dual cockpit setup looks very similar to the one in the larger Traverse. As expected of any new model these days, the full array of USB audio, Bluetooth and DVD entertainment systems are also now available. Read about the new engines powering the Equinox after the jump.

The Audi A7 Sportback Concept features Audi’s design cues such as the LED headlamps and the front grille. The Sportback is built on Audi’s new modular longitudinal build kit (LBK) which could be adjusted for length, width and height depending on the required application. The same chassis setup is expected to be used by future large Audi vehicles. Besides that, the fastback roofline of the Sportback suggested that it could be a full blown hatchback.

However there is not further details of the Audi Sportback Concept but from the net, the car is powered by a 3.0 liter TFSI turbocharged engine that found in the A6 and a 5.0 liter twin turbo V10 engine that found in the Audi RS6
The power from the mid-mounted diesel will be sent to a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox mounted closer to the front of the car and resulting in a 45:55 front-to-rear weight distribution. The overall length is just over 13 feet, with a wheelbase of 96 inches, a front track 58.5 inches and a rear track of 60 inches. Two storage areas – one frunk and another mounted behind the engine – result in 182 liters of cargo area.
