Saleen is considering to build the 650hp, V8 hyper car, Saleen S5S Raptor. This could mean that a production version is on the way and that it would take all of six months to have a prototype in testing. The major hurdle Saleen has to overcome is finding a suitable production partner, but if that wrinkle is ironed out and they decide to build the Raptor, Saleen's halo car might be spied in prototype form next year.

Weber, a car manufacturer from Switzerland had produced a super car recently. The looks of the car are very special and so is the engine with it’s 900 bhp. All this power is derived from a twin-turbo V8. Total weight is only 1.100 kg. With the advantage of power to weight ratio, the car manage to have a topspeed of above 250 mph (400 kmh) and a sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in only 2.6 seconds, 6.6 seconds is time the Weber car needs to reach 125 mph (200 kmh) and only 16.2 seconds to do 188 mph (300 kmh). The price for these amazing figures is not surprisingly high with € 998.000 ($ 1.553.500 - £ 783.400). First car is planned to roll out the factory this summer.
Weber announced that not many will be produced, but a number isn’t released due to incoming orders! Inside the cockpit you get six-point safety belts, all parts from a to b are made out of carbon-fibre. As nice extra’s you get airconditioning and GPS-navigation with built in reverse camera!

Spirra, a brand from Korea at first. Several years ago Spirra came up with a real supercar from the East, but it didn’t make it further than a concept. The introduction car was the Spirra GT270 with a V6 producing 600 bhp. However, now Spirra is owned by Oullim Motors after being sold few years back. Recently, Beijing Auto Show Spirra presented the production ready Spirra S. This time the power-source is a 2.7 liter V6 with supercharger producing 400 bhp and 355 Nm of torque. The sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 kmh) is covered in 4.8 seconds and the topspeed is about 190 mph (305 kmh).
The first Spirra S will be deliverd by next month in Korea and planns exist to produce another 100 units for the Korean market next year. We wonder if this car is going to make it to Europe or the United States. With a price of about $ 100,000 this should be possible!
In conjunction to the 30th anniversary of the BMW M1, BMW rolled out the new BMW M1 Hommage, a concept/design study that pays tribute to the original M1 and shows what could be possible if BMW were to produce a new mid-engined sports car.
The greatest departure is seen in front, where BMW has given the M1 Hommage a sinister, imposing face. The BMW M1 is designed with four round headlights lurk behind thin slits in the front fascia. There is no interior picture for the M1 yet. Besides that, BMW doesn't mention about the specific powertrain possibilities
